UPMC Corporate Construction is hiring a Construction Project Manager to join our team in Harrisburg, PA. This role will primarily be Monday through Friday during daylight hours, with daily local travel to support our hospitals.

The Project Manager will oversee the construction process to deliver a high-quality, timely, and accurate product that ensures user satisfaction, under the general direction of the Program Director, Construction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management, with at least three years of construction management experience, or eight years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience in healthcare construction management is preferred.
• Registration for Architecture or Engineering is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with management, vendors, contractors, and design professionals to ensure end-user satisfaction for all projects.
2. Coordinate all Department of Health inspections and certifications.
3. Liaise with architects/engineers during design and construction phases.
4. Monitor compliance with all ICRA requirements.
5. Complete necessary paperwork for all project phases, adhering to policies and procedures.
6. Manage daily activities related to various construction projects, ensuring compliance.
7. Ensure projects are completed satisfactorily, including punch lists, installations, and move-in activities.
8. Maintain safety standards and meet regulatory requirements during construction activities.
9. Supervise outside contractors' performance.
10. Maintain project budgets and schedules.
11. Develop knowledge of existing facilities across UPMC Hospital campuses.
