  • Oversee and review the work of architectural and engineering consultants for successful bidding and constructability.
  • Manage all contractor project logs, track status, and assist in the review of Request for Information (RFIs), submittals, Change Order Proposals for proper submission and responses; review substitution submittals from contractors to ensure specifications and/or Aerospace standards are in compliance.
  • Assist in the selection process of outside design consultants and interface as often as necessary with the customers regarding project status, project requirements, project approval and coordination with other departments.

  • Experience preparing Construction Statements of Work (SOWs) for obtaining proposals from outside contractors, and coordinating with in‑house designers and engineers for design‑build SOW.
  • Experience managing both project budget and schedule; monitoring the budget on a monthly basis and ensuring it accurately reflects project status and progress.
  • Experience managing daily or upcoming activities of the contractor and reviewing contractor construction schedules for conformance with company standards and scheduling practices.
  • Excellent grasp of theories, principles, and practices related to scheduling.
  • Experience with construction project management software.
