Job summary

Elsdon Group in Denver is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, collaborating with clients, subcontractors, architects and internal teams.

You will manage schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and documentation, coordinate with stakeholders, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and help grow the Denver office with a strong project portfolio.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
  • Proven experience managing commercial projects from start to finish.
  • Ground-up and/or renovation experience.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling and project financials.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong client and subcontractor management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout.

  • Manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals and project documentation.

  • Identify and resolve project issues as they arise.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

I’m working with a well-established General Contractor that is expanding its Denver office and looking to add an experienced Project Manager to the team.

The company specializes in ground-up and renovation commercial projects across both the public and private sectors, with projects ranging up to $60M.

The Role

As Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion, working closely with clients, subcontractors, architects and internal teams.

Responsibilities include:
  • Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets and overall project performance
  • Manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals and project documentation
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers and consultants
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and project stakeholders
