Are you a driven Project Manager with a proven track record delivering successful ground-up commercial projects? A well-established General Contractor based in Dallas is looking to hire an experienced PM to lead projects across a diverse portfolio of work.

About the Company:

This Texas-based GC has built a strong reputation for excellence across K-12 education, banking, healthcare, retail, and restaurant sectors. Known for their commitment to quality, client satisfaction, and safety, they offer a stable pipeline of projects and a supportive team environment.

The Role:

As a Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and completion of ground-up commercial construction projects — ensuring delivery on schedule, on budget, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage all phases of the construction lifecycle
• Collaborate closely with Superintendents to ensure jobsite operations align with project goals
• Manage budgets, schedules, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements and scopes of work
• Monitor and control project costs to meet or exceed financial targets
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations
• Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project teams
• Ensure timely close-out and punch list completion

What They’re Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects
• Project experience in K-12 schools and banks/financial institutions is essential
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, cost controls, and safety practices
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Strong understanding of the Dallas market and experience working with local subs and vendors
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred (not required)
