Job summary

Home Genius Exteriors in Cincinnati is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the customer experience and vendor relationships from post-sale through final installation. You will ensure accurate window measurements and coordinate with crews to meet project specs.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in Construction Management and window measurement, strong communication and organizational skills, and a professional, self-motivated work style. A company vehicle and benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all aspects of the project to determine the scope of work.
• Conduct precise measurements at each job site to confirm order of custom windows.
• Communicate with customers to align terms; identify alternatives and negotiate as appropriate.
• Assess licensing and permitting requirements to obtain permits.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Complete administrative tasks and assist in staging products for delivery.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel between sites.

Job description

The Project Manager manages all aspects of the customer experience and vendor relationship post-sale up to final installation, including the accuracy of measuring windows.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing management policies and operating practices.
• Responsible for inspecting all aspects of the project to make determination of the scope of work.
• Conducts precise measurements at each job site in order to confirm order of the custom windows
• Responsible for communicating the agreement between company and customer Identifies alternative courses of action needed, and negotiates directly with the customer to alter the specific terms of the plan as appropriate.
• Analyzes all legal requirements related to licensing and permitting to obtain permits.
• Follows all regulatory compliance with regard to safety and health.
• Completes various administrative tasks as needed and assists in the warehouse to stage products for delivery.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be capable of driving to, from, and in between sites as needed.

Required Education and Experience:

• 1-3 years of Construction Management experience
• 1-3 years of window measurement experience
• Professionalism is VERY important.
• Self-motivation and discipline
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Resourceful problem solving abilities
