Job summary

Cavelli Renovations is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee large home renovation projects from planning through completion, coordinating a cross-functional company team, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors and employees. Reporting to the Owner, this role requires local travel between project sites and will be a 70% management, 30% on-site role.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
• Proficiency with construction scheduling and PM software.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate schedules and ensure timelines are met.
• Lead cross-functional team and coordinate contractors.
• Obtain permits and ensure code compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress; ensure quality and safety.
• Prepare progress reports and update clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain quality control throughout each phase.

The Construction Project Manager will oversee large home renovation projects from planning through completion, coordinating a cross-functional company team and serving as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors and employees. Reporting to the Owner, this role requires local travel between project sites and offers advancement to Construction Operations Director.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage large home renovation projects from initiation through completion.
• Manage project budgets, tracking costs and financial performance.
• Monitor construction schedules and coordinate activities to maintain project timelines.
• Coordinate contractors and the cross-functional company team.
• Manage permits and ensure compliance with applicable building codes.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate project updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain quality control throughout each phase of construction.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling.
• Experience with construction project management software.
• Knowledge of building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to execute hands on carpentry tasks as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
