Job summary

Combined Selection Group Ltd in Southern California is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects from preconstruction through final delivery. The role focuses on public works, education, K-12 and DSA-regulated projects with an established contractor.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships, coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, subs, and vendors, and ensuring quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction project management.
• Experience with General Contractor projects.
• Public works/education construction experience preferred.
• DSA experience strongly preferred.
• End-to-end project delivery.

About the Opportunity A well-established General Contractor in Southern California is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. The company has a strong track record delivering public works, education, K-12 and DSA-regulated projects throughout Southern California. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager looking to take ownership of high-quality projects while working with an established and respected contractor.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from preconstruction through final completion
• Take overall responsibility for project budget, schedule and profitability
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and vendors
• Manage project documentation, contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders and pay applications
• Review plans, specifications and project requirements
• Develop and maintain project schedules
• Monitor project costs and financial performance
• Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams
• Identify and resolve project issues and potential delays
• Ensure projects comply with contract requirements, quality standards and applicable regulations
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation
• Support estimating and preconstruction activities when required
• Ensure successful project closeout and turnover

Requirements

• 5+ years of construction project management experience
• Experience working for a General Contractor
• Strong experience with public works and/or education construction
• DSA experience strongly preferred
• Experience managing projects from start to finish
