Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of construction project management experience.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, scheduling, and project financials.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of construction plans, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management/project scheduling software.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
  • Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects from planning and estimating through final completion and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Review contracts, plans, specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, contracts, scopes of work, and performance.
  • Monitor project costs, change orders, commitments, and overall profitability.
  • Review and approve invoices, pay applications, purchase orders, and project documentation.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop solutions to keep projects moving forward.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, punch lists, and closeout documentation.
  • Work closely with superintendents and field personnel to coordinate day-to-day construction activities.
  • Ensure projects comply with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other project partners.
  • Monitor quality control and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications.
  • Prepare regular project updates, financial reports, and forecasts for company leadership.
  • Assist with estimating, bidding, contract negotiations, and pre-construction activities as needed.
  • Lead project closeout, including final inspections, warranties, as-builts, and turnover documentation.
