McKenney's is seeking a Co-op student to join the team from day one, with training and impactful tasks that contribute to project success. You will support estimating and operations, collaborate with vendors, and assist the Field Foreman with scheduling and site logistics.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Co-op program at an accredited engineering school (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or related).
• Must complete at least three full-time alternating Co-op rotations before graduation.
• Summer, Spring and Fall rotations are planned as part of the program.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in managing mechanical, plumbing, and controls construction from start to finish using Revit, Bluebeam, Procore and BIM 360.
• Coordinate with vendors to schedule and procure materials and equipment for construction projects.
• Regularly update project cost expenditures and budgets for ongoing projects.
• Plan with Project Managers and Field Foreman to meet major schedule milestones with field crews onsite.
• Assist in the preconstruction phase by gathering quotes, performing take-offs, and helping assemble estimates.
• Assist in obtaining permits, submittals, and other documentation for projects.
• Survey project sites to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production values.
