Job summary

Weis Builders is seeking an Assistant Superintendent Intern to support construction projects by working with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and project management teams. You’ll gain hands-on experience in project management, estimating, and site operations, with responsibilities expanding as projects progress.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in construction management or related field.
  • GPA 3.0 or higher is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a project team to ensure timely and budget-conscious completion of construction projects.
  • Assist in managing on-site subcontractors, ensuring smooth operations and communication.
  • Participate in oversight of project schedules and budget management.
  • Learn and apply quality best practices to ensure project standards are met or exceeded.
  • Promote and maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Gain exposure by interacting with industry professionals such as subcontractors, architects, engineers, and owners.
  • Demonstrate eagerness to learn and increase responsibility throughout the internship.
