The ideal candidate will manage communication, documentation, financial performance, and closeout, with a focus on cost control and project profitability across paving, grading, excavation, and concrete work.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction project management or field leadership preferred.
• Experience in asphalt paving, excavation, grading, concrete, civil or sitework strongly preferred.
• Ability to read construction plans, specifications, contracts, and proposals.
• Understanding of job costing, construction scheduling, and project financials.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local project sites.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts, estimates, plans, specifications, quantities, and project requirements.
• Coordinate project startup and handoff between estimating and operations.
• Manage multiple active paving, grading, excavation, concrete, and related construction projects.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, general contractors, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Coordinate schedules, materials, subcontractors, trucking, and project requirements with field operations.
• Monitor project costs, production, schedule, and profitability.
• Identify, price, and obtain approval for change-order work.
• Review completed quantities and assist with accurate and timely billing.
• Visit project sites regularly and address project issues before they impact cost, schedule, or customer satisfaction.
• Maintain organized project documentation and communication.
• Coordinate punch lists, final billing, and project closeout.
• Participate in post-project reviews to improve future estimating and operations.
