Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation in Columbia, SC seeks a Project Manager to lead project teams across multifamily and commercial construction, focusing on budgeting, planning, scheduling, quality, and owner/subcontractor relations.

You will coordinate meetings, prepare contracts and change orders, monitor cost variances, ensure safety and staffing, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery while expanding repeat business with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in civil engineering or construction management is required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in multifamily and commercial construction.
• Managed multiple projects with values from $10M-$60M to completion.
• Ability to organize, analyze and solve problems on assigned projects.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team and manage budgeting, planning and scheduling.
• Organize and participate in project meetings with owners, architects and trade partners.
• Prepare contracts and change orders promptly.
• Provide monthly variance cost/budget reports to management.
• Oversee all phases of construction including safety, staffing and schedule adherence.
• Build strong owner relationships to promote repeat business.
• Assist in close-out documentation.
