Job summary

Scott Humphrey has partnered with a large general contractor to assist in seeking a Senior Estimator to take a lead role within their preconstruction team. This individual will drive estimates, mentor team members, and serve as a key point of contact throughout the bidding process.

Responsibilities include leading the estimating process for multiple projects, preparing conceptual and hard-bid estimates, analyzing drawings and specs, coordinating with subs and internal teams, and supporting

Qualifications

• 5+ years estimating experience with a general contractor.
• Experience leading or mentoring a team.
• Commercial construction experience (K-12 preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing strategies.
• Proficiency in estimating software and takeoff tools.

This individual will be responsible for driving estimates, mentoring team members, and serving as a key point of contact throughout the bidding process.
