Job summary

Scott Humphrey is partnering with a large general contractor to recruit a Senior Estimator to lead the preconstruction team. The role drives estimates, mentors project staff, and serves as a primary contact throughout bidding.

Responsibilities include leading multiple projects, preparing conceptual and hard-bid estimates, analyzing drawings and specs, coordinating with subs and internal teams, and supporting handoff to operations when a bid is won.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience with a general contractor.
• Leadership ability with experience leading or mentoring a team.
• Experience in commercial construction.
• Ability to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing strategies.
• Proficiency in estimating software and takeoff tools.
