Job summary

Per Sé Group is seeking a Project Engineer to grow into a Project Manager role. You’ll move from supporting preconstruction through closeout, gradually taking on more ownership and coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors on Southeast-based projects.

You’ll see the full project lifecycle—from estimating to handover—across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure work, with a clear path from Project Engineer to Senior Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Ability to read drawings and understand project scopes and schedules.
• Strong coordination with subcontractors and field teams.
• Experience tracking costs, milestones, and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Support projects from preconstruction through closeout while taking on more responsibility.
• Help manage schedules, costs, commitments, documentation, and milestones.
• Coordinate procurement, buyout, and change orders with subs.
• Track RFIs, submittals, long-lead materials, and procurement.
• Review drawings for coordination and constructability issues.
• Interface with Superintendent to connect office decisions to field construction.
• Participate in meetings with owners, architects, engineers, subs, and vendors.
• Support project closeout, punch lists, warranties, and turnover.
• Utilize Procore and construction tech to keep projects moving.
