Job summary

Hughes General Contractors, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented project support professional to assist with RFIs, submittals, scheduling, and project documentation in a fast-paced construction environment.

You will collaborate with Project Managers to keep schedules on track, participate in meetings, and help manage closeout and warranty documentation for successful project completion.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture or equivalent applicable work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive mindset with a problem-solving approach.
• Understanding of construction processes and documentation.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Project Support & Documentation - Manage RFIs, submittals, change documentation, and project logs to keep everything on track.
• Scheduling & Coordination - Assist in maintaining and updating project schedules, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Problem Solving - Work alongside the Project Manager to resolve challenges efficiently.
• Communication & Meetings - Attend project meetings, document key discussions, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
• Closeout & Quality Control - Support punch lists, warranty management, closeout document management, and ensure successful project completion.
