Job summary

Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Sacramento team. This role supports the Project Manager and Sr. Project Engineer with planning and daily execution of the construction project.

The Project Engineer will help manage submittals, coordinate timely material delivery, and maintain schedules and budgets to ensure quality and profitability while upholding our Safety/Zero Harm culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, or related engineering field, or 3 years of project engineer/coordination experience.
• Construction work experience or internship experience required for this role.
• Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager and Sr. Project Engineer with planning and daily execution.
• Manage submittal approvals and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain schedules and budgets to ensure quality and profitability while adhering to Safety/Zero Harm culture.
• Promote customer relations and drive culture, leadership and employee development.
