Job summary

TA Loving is seeking a Project Engineer to drive project success from startup to closeout on our Greenville project team. You will manage scheduling, procurement, contract execution, and safety across the jobsite.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering, with proficiency in Procore or Vista and strong reading of blueprints. A valid driver’s license and commitment to safety are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with project tools like Procore and Vista; willingness to learn.
• Strong blueprint reading and problem-solving; contract negotiation.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Risk Management: Lead weekly safety talks, enforce site-specific safety protocols, and correct unsafe acts immediately with a proactive mindset.
• Project Administration: Manage drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders using Procore and Vista.
• Procurement & Cost Control: Track material deliveries, review subcontractor proposals, and support budget tracking and invoice approvals.
• Communication & Leadership: Facilitate meetings with owners and subcontractors, build client relationships, and mentor onsite personnel.
