Job Description: We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team at KCG Companies. The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in the successful execution of construction projects by overseeing various administrative tasks, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the Procore electronic folder organization and document naming conventions for various project documents.
  • Assist Project and Construction Managers in assigning tasks to internal teams and maintaining project documentations.
  • Plan and coordinate construction operations, logistics, and schedules to meet project deadlines.
  • Prepare, process, and manage Requests for Information and project submittals to ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to determine project standards and specifications.
  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses from relevant authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company health and safety standards.
  • Take ownership of the project and contribute to its successful completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent , or a combination of education and operational experience.
  • Basic knowledge of project management methodologies and procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of document management procedures.
  • 0-4 years of construction project management experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of project scheduling software programs such as Microsoft Project.
  • Strong knowledge of BlueBeam PDF document management platform.
  • Experience with project management platforms such as ProCore.
  • Experience with process management and improvement.
  • OSHA 30 certification.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate a team of professionals from various disciplines.
  • Professional and positive interaction with subordinates, peers, and superiors.
  • Willingness to travel as required, up to 100% of the project’s construction life cycle period.
  • Ability to function at an extremely high level with minimal supervision.

Salary: $50,000 - $75,000
