Job summary

Juniper in Lenexa, KS seeks a Construction Project Engineer (entry to mid-level) to support commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout. You'll assist Project Managers with planning, RFIs, submittals, and documentation.

You will coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors; monitor budgets, schedules, and safety; and help ensure quality and compliance with contract documents. DOE-based base salary and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/CE/Architecture or related field required.
• 1+ years of experience supporting commercial construction projects.
• Understanding of construction methods, scheduling, contracts, and building systems.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project/Primavera P6 preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with planning and execution of commercial projects.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, meeting minutes, and docs.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain progress.
• Track procurement and long-lead items to support schedules.
• Monitor budgets, cost reports, and subcontractor commitments.
• Support project scheduling and risk identification.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate action items.
• Support quality control and ensure contract compliance.
• Assist with project closeout, including punch lists and final docs.
• Promote safety and OSHA compliance.
