Job summary

Ryan Companies US Inc. is offering a Project Engineer Intern role in Illinois for summer 2027 or spring/fall co-ops. You will learn construction processes, assist with budgets, invoices, change orders, and site coordination while adhering to Ryan policies.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a construction engineering/management degree, within 18 months of graduation, and able to work 40 hours weekly for at least three months. Strong contracts-reading and communication skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• You must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction engineering/management or closely related field.
• You should be within 18 months of graduating.
• You must be able to work 40 hours per week for at least a three-month term.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
• Develop understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.
• Assist project team with designated projects while learning construction processes and Ryan policies.
