Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer Intern in Chicago to help the project team complete designated projects while learning construction industry processes and Ryan policies.

You will gain hands-on exposure to budgets, invoicing, contracts, and change orders. Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction engineering/management, must be within 18 months of graduating, and able to commit to 40 hours per week for at least three months.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction engineering/management or closely related field and within 18 months of graduating.
• Be able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.

Responsibilities

• Gain understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
• Develop understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.
• Complete critical inspections and closeout observations to keep the project schedule.
• Coordinate design documentation with field conditions through a reality capture program.
• Work with high performing teams in a fast-paced environment to solve challenges.
