Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer Intern in Fort Worth, TX. You will assist the project team and focus on learning construction industry processes, policies, and Ryan business practices.

You will gain exposure to budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders, while developing on-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction engineering/management or closely related field.
• Available for 40 hours/week for at least a three-month term.
• Strong understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
• Ability to read contracts, specifications, and drawings.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist project team in completing designated projects and learn construction processes.
• Gain understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, change orders.
• Develop on-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.
• Complete inspections and closeout observations to keep schedule moving.
• Coordinate design documentation with field conditions using reality capture.
• Collaborate with high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
