Job summary

Performance Contracting Group is seeking motivated undergraduate students for its Associate Project Engineer summer internship program. Interns will gain hands-on experience in the specialty construction industry through mentor-guided activities, exposure to owners, managers, engineers, and contractors, and implementation of the Intern Activities Checklist.

The program emphasizes training, real-world learning, and potential future opportunities with the company.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate student pursuing Construction Management, Construction Science, or related field
• Must have reliable transportation
• Willing to relocate temporarily for assignment
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to read drawings/specifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Learn to write detailed proposals and prepare bid analyses
• Understand and demonstrate project scheduling
• Attend pre-bid walk-throughs and assist in quantity take-offs
• Maintain project documentation and correspondence
• Track labor, materials, and cost data
