Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking a seasoned construction engineering professional to plan, develop, coordinate, and manage onsite activities across varying project sizes. You will ensure quality and cost effectiveness while leading a diverse team and supporting design interpretation and constructability reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field preferred, or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.
• Experience in construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and manage onsite construction engineering activities to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure on-time and under-budget delivery.
• Manage project engineering assignments and activities to meet contract, schedule and budget requirements.
• Provide technical support in planning, quality control, design interpretation, and constructability reviews.
• Develop and implement project engineering procedures and documentation to clarify roles.
• Represent the company in client and project management meetings to ensure effective communication.
• Develop and maintain all job reporting and logs for project compliance.
• Supervise and mentor project staff to ensure development and adherence to standards.
