Job summary

RBA Builders LLC in Fountain Valley, CA is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to advance construction projects from start to finish. This role focuses on coordinating across teams, interpreting drawings and specs, and supporting project logistics in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of solving issues while collaborating with field and office staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Working knowledge of scheduling tools and project management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate across multiple project types and scopes.
• Manage submittals, shop drawings, and project logs.
• Support RFIs, change orders, and cost tracking.
• Assist in estimating, bid packages, and subcontractor proposals.
• Help manage schedules, procurement, and milestones.
• Collaborate with Superintendents and PMs to support execution.
• Build relationships with subcontractors, architects, and clients.
• Uphold safety standards and site procedures.
