Job summary
A leading steel fabricator in Nashville is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to collaborate with Pre-Construction and Project Management teams. In this full-time position, you will engage with the Estimating department, maintain customer relationships, and analyze subcontractor bids. Candidates should have a degree in Engineering or related fields, proficient in Microsoft Office, and demonstrate problem-solving skills. Qualifications
Valid driver’s license is required.
Some experience in construction or engineering preferred.
Responsibilities
Engage with Estimating department for pricing.
Review subcontractor bids for project alignment.
Perform material and labor take-offs using company software.
Maintain strong customer relationships and follow up on bids.
Issue RFIs to clients for project clarity.
Update shipping and project schedules for timely delivery.
Prepare purchase orders and subcontracts.
Analyze design revisions for scope changes.
Coordinate construction drawings and submittal reviews.
Work with subcontractors to resolve field issues.
Gain insight into the fabrication flow and construction lifecycle.
