Job summary

Quiring is seeking a Project Engineer in the Bay Area to support development and coordination of documents, scheduling, cost control, and client management for assigned projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.

Ideal candidates have internship coursework in construction management, knowledge of methods, materials, and building codes, and strong communication with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Internship or coursework related to construction management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiar with project management and scheduling software.
• Valid California driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in review of RFIs for accuracy and compliance before issuance.
• Process RFI responses and post to plans.
• Report on Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
• Review and process submittals and shop drawings for conformance.
• Coordinate and confirm trade buyout with the Project Manager.
• Draft and review subcontract scopes and purchase agreements.
