Job summary

International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) in Rocklin, CA is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager and Superintendent from startup to closeout. Qualifications

• Estimating experience in commercial construction (5+ years).
• Experience in retail, site development, light industrial, tenant improvement or grocery.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering or 5 years experience in commercial construction.
• Storm Water Inspector for General Construction preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word and Excel; Procore preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM and PM with all aspects of project management; may lead duties.
• Coordinate submittals with subcontractors, architects and owners.
• Manage long lead times to meet the project schedule for materials.
• Coordinate RFIs with subcontractors, architects and owners.
• Procure and manage Change Order requests; track RFQ's and CORs.
• Maintain project records and perform filing and document control.
• Take weekly project progress photos and update documents.
• Assist in punch list development and closeout document assembly.
