Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for a general contracting firm in Buffalo, Wyoming. You will join the engineering team supporting Project Managers, handling cost reporting, scheduling, and field coordination.

The role requires 1–3 years of roadway construction experience and a BS in Engineering or Construction Management (or related associate degree). Strong Microsoft Word/Excel skills and communication abilities are essential, with opportunities for career advancement and a

Qualifications

Understanding of blueprints and project specifications.
Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic skills in scheduling software, such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft P6.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and other forces.
Serve as primary liaison between field operations and central accounting for timekeeping and job cost reporting.
Develop short-term working schedules with Area and Project Superintendents; track materials.
Track and document quantities and field measurements for progress payments.
Create Daily Extra Work Reports and submit to Contract Admin for review.
Attend construction site or pre-construction meetings as needed.
Maintain safe and clean work environment by enforcing procedures and regulations.
Process and track all submittals and RFIs.
