Job summary
Dawson Construction LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to support field operations on our commercial/industrial projects. This on-site role is based in Bellingham, Washington, with a pay range of $75,000 to $95,000 annually and a pathway to leadership within the company.
You will assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with bidding, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, and change orders while coordinating with owners, architects, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure safe, on-time project
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in construction management or related field (or equivalent work exp).
- 2–3 years of project engineering experience on commercial/industrial projects.
- Proven competency in Project Engineer duties.
Responsibilities
- Supports Project Manager and Superintendent on construction projects.
- Provides field, technical and administrative support at the job site or office.
- Coordinates with owners, architects, subcontractors and suppliers; tracks contracts.
- Assists with bidding including take-offs and quotes; tracks RFIs and submittals.
- Helps build/update project schedules; maintains plans and specs; coordinates change orders.
- Prepares and coordinates communications, purchase orders, and permitting as needed.
