Job summary

Uprite Construction in Irvine, CA is seeking a Project Engineer to work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients to keep projects organized and moving forward. You will support projects from preconstruction through closeout while gaining experience across both field and project management.

This role focuses on coordination, documentation, scheduling, and cost tracking, with opportunities to learn procurement, turnover, and commissioning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field preferred.
• Commercial construction experience preferred.
• Internship or junior project management experience with a general contractor is a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to coordinate with field teams, clients, and design professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with day-to-day coordination.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project docs.
• Review drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
• Maintain project logs and follow through outstanding items.
• Support scheduling and identify milestones risks.
• Assist with cost tracking, forecasting, and finance docs.
• Prepare meeting minutes and action items.
• Resolve field coordination and constructability issues.
• Help with turnover documentation and warranties.
• Maintain accurate project records and client relationships.
