Job summary

IPS, Integrated Project Services, is seeking a Construction Project Engineer for our Cary, North Carolina office. You will provide technical, administrative, and subcontractor support to Project Managers and Directors to keep complex life sciences projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities include coordinating execution plans, managing submittals and RFIs, assisting with procurement and contract administration, and contributing to safety and quality efforts on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline (or equivalent technical degree).
• 1-3 years of experience in Engineering, Project Delivery, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and maintenance of execution plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Manage documentation, submittals, RFIs, and communication among project stakeholders.
• Support procurement, contract administration, and change management processes.
• Participate in safety planning and quality assurance, including shop drawing reviews and design compliance.
• Track project costs, invoice preparation, and reporting.
• Maintain project documentation systems and assist with closeout deliverables and turnover packages.
• Contribute to marketing materials, proposals, and ongoing team coordination across departments.

Education
