Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Missouri Heights, US seeks a Project Engineer/Assistant to support value engineering and preconstruction efforts. You will draft preliminary project schedules and assist in close-out activities with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Engineering or Construction Management and has at least 3 years of construction experience, with strong problem-solving and communication skills and estimating familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related.
• Minimum 3 years of construction experience.
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent communication with local and regional subcontractors.
• Knowledge and experience in estimating.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with and review value engineering process
• Prepare draft of the preliminary project schedule for review with the Project/Pre-Construction Manager and Superintendent
• Assist in preconstruction process as needed
• Assist Project Manager in obtaining Certificate of Substantial Completion from customer
• Manage close-out activities (i.e., warranty manuals, owner training, etc.)
