XL Construction Corp. in San Francisco, CA seeks a Project Engineer to support planning and daily execution of complex construction projects.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the PM, Superintendent, and field teams to ensure smooth operation and quality outcomes. You will coordinate submittals, material deliveries, logs, schedules, and budgets, while upholding project safety initiatives and strong communication with clients and trade partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent required.
• Prior construction industry experience is preferred, especially healthcare, science & technology, corporate office, or education projects.
• Fundamental knowledge of construction materials and methods.
• Understanding of building permit approval processes.
• Ability to learn and master MS Office, MS Project, Primavera, Procore, Egnyte, BlueBeam.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with planning and daily execution of the construction project.
• Manage submittals, approvals, logs, schedules, budgets, and safety initiatives.
• Coordinate timely material deliveries and maintain documentation.
• Participate in subcontractor buyout and selection processes.
• Attend OAC meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Estimate change orders and prepare pricing for PCCs and EWAs.
• Lead document controls: distribute plans, drawings, permits, and revisions log.
• Support field QC, measurements, and reporting of work performed.
