North Coast Design Build is seeking a Construction Coordinator/Project Engineer for its Sheffield Lake, Ohio office. Ideal candidate is a senior-year student in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or has a related degree.

The role supports project managers, reviews change orders, coordinates subcontractors, and manages material deliveries and document control. This is a growth-focused position with strong communication and leadership expectations.

Qualifications

• Graduating with a construction management, civil engineering or other related field of study.

Responsibilities

• Assisting project managers or field supervisors with project coordination.
• Reviewing subcontractor change orders.
• Estimating cost for change orders, and follow-up on all change orders and returns/credits.
• Soliciting bidders.
• Scheduling of various material deliveries.
• Document control.
• Coordination of subcontractors.
• Review of field documentation.
• Participation in team/owner meetings.
• Writing RFIs.
• Fostering positive relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, end users and Project Managers.
