Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer, your key responsibilities will include assisting the Project Team in all aspects of construction to ensure project completion on time, under budget, and with quality that exceeds expectations.

Project Start-Up
  • Plan and coordinate projects with Project Managers, Operations Managers, and Superintendents.
  • Support projects through research, interpretation of codes, conflict resolution, interference management, and error correction.
  • Initiate and maintain project schedules and lifecycle plans.
Project Build
  • Assist with RIFs, change notices, and vendor materials management.
  • Manage material expediting, delivery, and storage.
  • Coordinate and resolve engineering and construction issues, attend meetings, and prepare minutes.
  • Implement cost controls and reconcile billings.
  • Maintain and verify contract drawings, shop drawings, submittals, project reports, quality control activities, estimates, and costs.
  • Serve as a communication liaison between the office, field, and project team.
Project Closeout
  • Assist in developing and completing close-out documentation.
  • Maintain and complete As-Builts.
  • Manage punch list processes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related field, or 1-4 years of related experience, or a combination of both.
  • Pharmaceutical experience is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of construction processes.
  • Proven experience with computer platforms; Procore experience is a plus.
