Job summary

Accounting Search seeks an experienced Project Engineer to join our Greensboro, NC team. You will lead site civil design projects, focusing on residential, commercial, and industrial developments, and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities include storm-water analysis and design, coordinating with clients and permitting authorities, and delivering accurate, timely engineering solutions. PE license within 12 months preferred; 5+ years in land development required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Land Development.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Proficient with earthwork analysis and storm-water management design.
• Strong communication and team skills.

Project Engineer

• Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
• Salary: $90,000 - $100,000

Description

We are looking for an experienced Professional Engineer to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. Applicants should have experience with site civil design and expertise in storm-water analysis and design, as well as proficiency with civil engineering software applications. Projects are primarily privately funded and focused on residential, commercial, and industrial site design. This position will provide support and leadership for our current team and will report directly to senior management.

Requirements / Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• PE License or ability to obtain PE within 12 months
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Land Development
• Ability to manage multiple projects and plan work efficiently
• Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Proficient with earthwork analysis and storm-water management design
• Microsoft Office software proficiency
• Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication skills, team player
• Motivated self-starter with ability to work independently but also within a team environment
• Goal-oriented within a team environment with attention to detail
