Position Classification: Full-Time Regular
As a Construction Project Engineer at Rockford, your role involves supporting all phases of construction projects and coordinating with the project team. You will interpret plans and specifications, compile contract documentation, track costs, manage documents, and handle administrative tasks. You will organize and oversee the construction process to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule. The Project Engineer reports directly to the project superintendent and select Project Managers, and may also perform some tasks typically handled by superintendents.
The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing, analyzing, and resolving field construction issues and design discrepancies.
