Job Description

Colorado Mechanical Systems is seeking a qualified candidate eager to be an integral part of a fast-paced, evolving industry within a growing company. Working closely with Project Managers, Estimators, Foremen, and Superintendents, you will manage multiple projects from award to closeout.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Manage all project documentation including contracts, drawings, subcontracts, O&M’s, daily reports, etc.
2. Process vendor submittals, revisions, and equipment releases
3. Track and coordinate equipment deliveries
4. Assist with monthly billing activities and submit pay applications
5. Support field operations with RFIs and project information
6. Participate in preplanning and project execution
7. Oversee project cost accounting, including POs, subcontracts, and change orders
8. Schedule and attend project meetings
9. Communicate with General Contractors, Vendors, Subcontractors, and Management
10. Manage close-out documentation submissions
11. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management, or 3 years of relevant experience in the mechanical/plumbing industry
2. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, contracts, and submittals
3. Basic understanding of project budgets
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Bluebeam is a plus
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
6. Detail-oriented, capable of multi-tasking, problem-solving, and working independently or in a team

Pay and Benefits:

Salary range: $60,000 - $72,000/year, depending on experience. Benefits include health, vision, dental, and 401(k).
