Job summary

Enerfab is seeking a Project Engineer in Asheville, OH to support the Senior Project Manager on large-scale construction projects. You will assist in planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, and scheduling to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and field operations to develop strategies, monitor costs, and manage risk while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in estimating, project coordination, or construction management.
• Demonstrated proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret and manage budgets, estimates, and cost reports.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and influence cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of construction industry practices, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Estimating & Budget Support: Collaborate with Estimating to prepare detailed project estimates, budgets, and cost analyses.
• Project Coordination & Planning: Develop project strategies, including scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Scheduling & Timeline Management: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using scheduling software.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure activities meet industry standards and client requirements.
• Risk Identification & Mitigation: Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Client & Stakeholder Relations: Coordinate with clients and stakeholders and provide status updates.
• Project Reporting & Documentation: Prepare reports and maintain records.
• Contract Administration: Review contracts and track compliance.
