Job summary

Barry-Wehmiller Companies Inc. seeks a Project Director, Construction to lead large-scale industrial projects from conception through closeout. You will guide design-build and EPC initiatives, align with client objectives, and drive safe, on-time delivery across multi-disciplinary teams.

You will partner with senior leaders to shape proposals, manage budgets, and mentor engineers and project teams while upholding Barry-Wehmiller's values and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in diverse construction roles
• 8+ years in construction management and leading teams
• Experience in Construction & Design Build
• Experience in industrial sectors (food/beverage/life science) preferred
• Proven track record managing projects valued from small to large scales
• Familiarity with process systems and reading P&IDs
• Safety-focused with implemented safety programs
• Technologically adept with project management software and BIM tools

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic leadership, client relations, and business development efforts
• Oversee budget and financial aspects across project lifecycle
• Manage construction and design-build initiatives; lead estimates and proposals
• Create and guard scope, schedule, and quality expectations
• Develop and mentor project delivery teams; ensure effective collaboration
