Job summary

Cotton Holdings, Inc. is seeking a National Project Coordinator to lead complex commercial projects from scope development through closeout.

The role focuses on building client relationships, preparing contracts, and coordinating regional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. The position requires a strong background in construction management, 10+ years of experience, and the ability to travel extensively to support disaster and development projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • 10+ years of commercial construction experience.
  • 5+ years in a senior project management or leadership role overseeing large, complex projects.
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Proven leadership experience managing Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and field teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture business relationships with adjustors, property owners, facility managers and client base.
  • Prepare scopes of work, estimates, executed contracts, initiate operations, file management, and invoicing.
  • Coordinate with Regional Marketing Director and Regional Operations Manager to create regional synergies.
  • Communicate with project managers to ensure projects run as planned and meet service standards.
  • Adhere to company policies, accounting procedures, and reporting requirements.
  • Write estimates per Cotton guidelines and ensure contracts are signed.
  • Determine steps to begin production while deployment occurs.
  • Resolve issues beyond standard protocol to secure work.
  • Complete Change Orders and relay to the project manager.
  • Meet client and adjustor needs and bid competitively.
  • Handle customer/adjustor conflicts and supervise field staff.
  • Manage scope changes, invoicing timelines, and collections.

Description

Summary

Cotton is currently looking for a National Project Coordinator. This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this job description. II. Major Responsibilities
  • To develop and nurture business relationships with adjustors, property owners, facility managers and any other clientele that can provide commercial work.
  • To prepare scopes of work, estimates, executed contracts, initiate operations/production, file management, remain point of contact and collect invoiced amounts.
  • Will coordinate with the Regional Marketing Director and the Regional Operations Manager to create synergies within the region.
  • Must communicate with the project managers to ensure each project is functioning as planned and that the service quality is at the company's highest standard.
  • Must adhere to company protocol, policies, accounting procedures and reporting requirements.
  • Writing the estimates within the guidelines of Cotton and ensuring that a contract is signed
  • Determining necessary steps to begin the production of the job while project management and additional resources are being deployed
  • Determining when to extend beyond standard protocol to resolve any potential issues or secure potential work
  • Completion of Change Orders and communication of them to the project manager
  • Determining the best way to meet the needs of the client and the adjustor
  • Winning in a competitive bidding situation
  • Conflict resolution with customers / adjustors
  • Performance of field staff
  • Changes in scope; timely submittal of invoices; timely collection of invoices
Knowledge and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of commercial construction experience
  • 5+ years in a senior project management or leadership role overseeing large, complex projects
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Proven leadership experience managing Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and field teams
  • Strong P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and project financial oversight
  • Proficient in Xactimate
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work
  • Experience with scheduling, procurement, subcontractor management, change orders, billing, and WIP reporting
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, quality control, and risk management
  • Proven organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong client and team relationships
  • Experience working with property owners, insurance adjusters, consultants, and other key stakeholders
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Ability to travel extensively and respond to emergency/disaster deployments as business needs require
