This role links Project Managers with Finance, translating numbers into actionable insights and readable monthly reports. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, proficient with Excel and dashboards, and able to discuss variances and risks with PMs.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in construction accounting, project controls or related field.
• Strong understanding of construction project financials and job costing.
• Experience with budgets, actuals, forecasts and profitability analysis.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to manage large data sets.
• Clear communication with Project Managers and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly project cost-control and financial performance reports.
• Analyze revenue, costs, commitments, gross profit, and forecasted results.
• Compare budget, actuals, commitments, and projected costs.
• Identify variances, risks, and cost overruns; escalate where needed.
• Support monthly forecasting and EAC analysis with PMs.
• Develop and improve project cost-control processes and dashboards.
