Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team, providing essential project support and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. You will assist the Project Manager to ensure quality, on-time delivery, manage submittals and RFIs, and help prepare proposals for new or existing projects.

You will participate in establishing governance, processes, and systems, maintain data sharing, and support monthly reporting with executives and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a construction-related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience.
• Proactive, organized, and thorough with a strong work ethic.
• Effective and collaborative team member in delivering the project.
• Exposure to project management software systems.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Google tools.
• Strong communication skills.
• SOX control responsibilities may apply where applicable.
• On-site presence and requirements may change depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager to ensure the project is managed to quality standards, efficiently and on-time.
• Manage submittal and RFI processes throughout construction.
• Assist with proposals for new projects or variations to existing projects.
• Help establish governance, processes, and systems for the project.
• Ensure key information and data are shared and retained.
• Build and maintain relationships with client and team members.
• Interface with stakeholders including executives, consultants and vendors.
• Transcribe meeting minutes and drive actions to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans and participate in status meetings.
