Nasser Holdings, a Houston-based holding company, seeks a trainee for Goldbeam Construction. You will split time between the office and active job sites, learning how projects run from permit to opening. We hire for attitude and reliability and will train you toward becoming a Field Superintendent.

You will gain hands-on site exposure, support on active builds, and a defined career path within our construction operations.

Qualifications

• This role requires no construction experience and includes training.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software.
• Travel to Texas projects when needed.
• Interest in building a construction career.

Responsibilities

• Support the Field Superintendent and Assistant PM on active projects.
• Run material and equipment pickups and keep sites stocked.
• Take daily site photos and help write daily reports.
• Help track subcontractor schedules and ensure crew attendance.
• Keep project documents organized (drawings, permits, submittals).
• Update project boards in monday.com to reflect current status.
• Coordinate inspections and assist with closeout documentation.
• Learn trades on site and progress toward Field Superintendent.

Job description

Nasser Holdings is a Houston based holding company that builds, acquires, and operates businesses across restaurants, franchising, and construction. Our operating companies are Wingbay, a fast growing chicken wing restaurant and franchise brand; Dripped, a taco restaurant group; and Goldbeam Construction, our commercial general contractor. We are privately held and founder owned. Our teams are small, the work is real, and the people we hire own their results.

This role sits with Goldbeam Construction, the Nasser Holdings company that handles commercial construction for the group. Goldbeam builds restaurant and retail spaces across Texas, both for our own brands and for outside clients and franchisees. Most of our work is tenant improvement and second generation restaurant buildouts on tight schedules, where a signed lease and a grand opening date are already on the calendar.

About the role

This is a training seat. No construction experience required. You will split your time between the office and the field, learn how a project actually runs from permit to opening, and be trained toward becoming a Field Superintendent. We are hiring for attitude and reliability, and we will teach you the rest.

What you will do

• Support the Field Superintendent and Assistant Project Manager on active projects, both in the office and on site
• Run material and equipment pickups and deliveries, and keep sites stocked
• Take daily site photos and help write daily reports
• Help track subcontractor schedules and confirm that crews show up when they said they would
• Keep project documents organized: drawings, permits, submittals, and vendor paperwork
• Update project boards in monday.com so project status stays current
• Help coordinate inspections and meet inspectors on site
• Assist with punch list walks and closeout documentation
• Learn the trades by being on site, watching the work, and asking questions
• Take on more responsibility as your skills develop, on a defined path toward Field Superintendent

What we are looking for

• No construction experience required. We will train you.
• Reliable and on time. Construction starts early and the crew does not wait.
• Valid Texas driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record, since you will be driving a company truck
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Comfortable being on active jobsites, including outdoors in Houston heat
• Basic computer skills: email, spreadsheets, phone photos, and a willingness to learn new software
• Willingness to make in state travel to Texas projects when needed
• A real interest in building a career in construction. This is not a placeholder job.

Nice to have

• Any trade, field labor, or warehouse experience
• Construction management or engineering coursework
• Bilingual English and Spanish
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30. If you do not have it, we will pay for it.
