Job summary

H MART in Whittier, CA seeks an Interior Design/Architecture professional to support permit applications, code compliance, and owner-supplied materials. You will coordinate schedules, site visits, and travel, and collaborate with the HQ Asset Team, design team, landlord, GC, and vendors to ensure documentation and design intent.

Requirements include a BS/BA in Interior Design or Architecture, 2–3 years of related experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino or 3D Max, and a strong

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Interior Design or Architecture major or related field.
• 2–3 years of related professional experience.
• Excellent portfolio of previous works required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino or 3D Max.
• Bilingual in English and Korean language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support permit applications, code compliance, and owner-supplied materials throughout the project.
• Coordinate project schedules, site visits, and business travel as needed.
• Coordinate with the HQ Asset Team, Design Team, landlord, general contractor, refrigeration contractor, vendors, and other relevant departments.
• Prepare project proposals, internal reports, and other documentation as required.
• Support project coordination and follow-up to ensure projects are completed according to design, schedule, and requirements.
