Job summary

Morris-Shea Bridge Co., Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Superintendent and Project Manager in delivering complex bridge construction projects across Alabama. You will measure and document activities, monitor progress, and maintain project records to ensure compliance with specifications.

The successful candidate holds a B.S. in Construction Engineering or related field, with a Geotechnical Engineering background preferred, and is willing to travel or relocate to LA and

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Engineering, Building Science, or a related technical field.
• Geotechnical engineering background preferred.
• Willing to travel/relocate to LA and TX Gulf Coast regions for large projects.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to utilize software programs, databases, and templates to process, distribute, and track all project documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties with support and direction from a Project Superintendent and Project Manager.
• Measure and document construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Monitor progress of work.
• Maintain project records and related documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
