Job summary

American Process Management (APM) is seeking a seasoned project controls professional to support major capital projects. The role ensures accurate reporting, contract compliance, change management, and financial integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

Based in Newnan, GA, or Macon, GA, the position is onsite five days a week and may require travel up to 25%. You will liaise with contractors, site personnel, and stakeholders while maintaining detailed records, budgets, schedules, and KPI

Qualifications

• Experience in construction administration, project controls, contract management, or related project support functions.
• Understanding of accounting processes, invoice reconciliation, accruals, and forecasting.
• Knowledge of Oracle and Primavera P6 is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe, inclusive, and quality-focused work environment.
• Manage detailed labor rate contracts and conduct contractor invoice reconciliation.
• Create and manage purchase orders and related documentation.
• Review contracts and establish appropriate accounting structures and accounts.
• Track extra work, contractor correspondence, non-conformance records, and change orders.
• Lead and coordinate contractor change order processes and reviews.
• Support cost forecasting, scheduling alignment, budgeting, and formal change management processes.
• Maintain project financial reporting integrity and support cost reviews and discussions.
