Job summary

Exponent seeks a Construction Associate in Alexandria, VA to support our Construction Consulting Practice. The role involves working on CPM scheduling, project cost analyses, and related construction consulting services on client engagements in a team setting.

Responsibilities include updating schedules, tracking scope changes and risks, reviewing documents, and preparing status reports. A BS in a construction-related field or MS with relevant experience is preferred, with strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 1–5 years of industry experience (internships included) or MS plus 0–5 years of industry experience.
• Ability to work within project teams with a strong desire to contribute.
• Experience interacting with internal and external clients; proactive and self-driven to navigate complexities.

• Developing, updating, and analyzing project schedules
• Planning and analyzing project costs
• Participating on client engagement teams performing CPM scheduling tasks
